What if I make a typing mistake?
You can change any entry here in the form as long as you have not ordered. We check the length of the codes and the shape of the plate while you type.
Do I really have to reveal the security codes?
Yes. Without the three codes a vehicle cannot be deregistered through the online route; the vehicle registration regulation requires it. We show you where each code is.
What if a code is no longer readable?
Then the online route is closed for that vehicle, for us too. In that case only a visit to the registration office helps. You pay us nothing for that.
Can I deregister the vehicle myself?
Yes. Anyone with an activated online ID function and a card reader or a suitable phone can do it through i-Kfz and then only pays the office fee. We are here for everyone for whom that does not work.
